Old Butcher’s Cabin

When the new two storey Comerford pub was built, the old single storey thatched house to the left was turned into a cabin and used for a variety of purposes.

It was once used as a temporary butcher shop, run by Michael Haugh of Kilkee, who would operate a butcher stall there every Sunday.
