The Doonbeg Parish Hall was built for £800 in 1938 and local dances took place here.

In 1961 Doonbeg hosted the first “West Clare Drama Festival”, and it is a strong tradition that has continued on to this day.

The hall acts as a central hub for the Doonbeg community and as a visitors’ information centre.
